Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.133 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Select some text either on a webpage or in the address bar. What is the expected behavior? Font changes colour. Background for the selected text changes colour. What went wrong? Black text remains black. White background remains white. With other font colour / background colour combinations some changes do occur e.g. grey text on a white background goes to black text on a white background. But certainly nothing as obvious as before. Did this work before? Yes The previous version Chrome version: 57.0.2987.133 Channel: n/a OS Version: 4.1.39-53-default Flash Version:

Hi, Perhaps I should have added my distro information. In case it helps: openSUSE Leap 42.1 I confirm that the issue is seen in incognito mode too. It's a little hard to demonstrate things not happening with a screenshot, but perhaps this does help? I've taken a screenshot of your comment and selected the following text: chromium.org, Today (3 hours ago) Cc: brajkumar@chromium.org Labels: Needs-Feedback Unable to reproduce As you can see, the black text on a white background remains the same. The text on the blue background now has a slightly lighter shade of blue behind it and the blue text has changed to black. Thanks!
