Old tabs are shown with screenshot correctly but are titled "New tab" instead of site/page name |
||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionApp Version:59.0.3054.0 iOS Version: iOD10.3 Device: iPhone 7 Plus URL: any URL Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a few tabs and navigate to different sites. 2. background the app and force quit 3. Open the app and open a couple more sites in new tabs 4. Enter the card stack/open tabs view Observed results: Screenshots are correctly shown for all, but the title of the old tabs is now "New tab", the newer opened tabs are correctly showing site/page name as tab title. Expected results: Site/page name should show as tab title. I'm not sure if this is just from upgrading within the 59 branch, as I cannot repro on on Stable. I haven't been able to try a fresh install from scratch for 59 either. Screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0By4O1f2IQqQ_TU9uMEJVVzA4VWc/view

Hi Kurt, Please feel free to dupe this against the other 2 bugs mentioned by Srikanth if appropriate when you review. Note these are all RBB. Thanks,

Verified on chrome canary version after upgrading to 59.0.3068.0 on iPhone 6 plus with iOS 10.2.1 following the steps mentioned in comment #0. All new tabs are restored normally. Title shows the site name. Looks good. |
