I just tried to reproduce the problem to submit the error code, but everything worked fine this time. I did this using another network without a chromecast with which I could test. Unfortunately I am not able to access the network with the chromecast until Friday.

gian.silvan.hiltbrunner@ - As per comment #4, is it feasible to close the issue or need to wait for some more days for the issue to repro from your end.

Thanks...!!

If possible, please wait until friday so I may try again with my chromecast.
Thank You

I just tried starting chromium again on my home network with the chromecast and it crashed instantly. The error was "[1] 18865 segmentation fault (core dumped) chromium". I can start chromium with the option --disable-extensions and it works fine. Thank you for your help.
