Able to reproduce this issue on Windows-10, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac OS 10.12 using chrome latest stable #57.0.2987.133 by following steps mentioned in the original comment. @dbeam - Could you please confirm is this issue is similar to bug 623247? If yes, can we merge this issue in to it? Thanks!

it's not the same bug. somebody changed how confirm() determines its origin.

There have been several changes for security's sake about how to display the origin in confirm() dialogs. If we want to let this go in favor of the new MD bookmarks, that's OK with me, but confirm dialogs aren't changing. Given that it's Chrome's policy that everyone (including us) should stop using JavaScript dialogs (https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2017/03/dialogs-policy) we should switch away from confirm.

This is fixed in MD Bookmarks. Marking this obsolete. |
