UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.98 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Use computer with French keyboard where `[` is obtained by AltGr + 5 (close to Alt + Ctrl + 5, but not the same).
2. Open the Console in the Developer Tools. 
3. Try to tyle `[` : a shortcut is activated (probably Ctrl+Alt+5) and the Developer Tools tab is switched.

What is the expected behavior?
Obtain `[` (very useful to access array elements ;))

What went wrong?
With the (last) version of Chrome 57.0.2987.98.

Did this work before? Yes Chrome 55 or Chrome 56 ?

I don't know if this bug is only in Chrome or it is also in Chromium.
