The differences shown in the test result of the inline-block case that fail are really tiny. 

I couldn't see such differences when running the test and its reference file using either the content-shell or the chrome browser.

I can't discard that the issue is at the ImageDiff tool. Another possibility is that is a Mac specific painting issue-

I'll retry the tests defined in https://crrev.com/2786123002  now that the patch for https://codereview.chromium.org/2926763004/ has landed.

Mac color diff is one problem and 1px shift is another problem. Great to see one was solved, thank you ccameron@, but I guess the other one is still there.

Isn't interesting that the try jobs I sent in https://crrev.com/2786123002 now pass on mac10.12 ? The tests still fail in the rest of mac versions.
