Stock charts in google search results do not render and crash the browser

Reported by donavanb...@gmail.com, Mar 31 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.133 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&rlz=1C1JZAP_enGB738GB738&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=ssx+stock+check&*

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Chrome Browser.
2. Search for "sxx stock check" with Google.

What is the expected behavior?
I expect the stock information/search results page to render correctly.

What went wrong?
The stock information/search results page only partially renders with the chart missing and Chrome becomes unresponsive and must be killed with task manager.

Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 57.0.2987.133 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0

Works fine in Firefox.

There was a typo in the URL as I had to screen shot the unresponsive browser and copied the URL incorrectly. The URL should be: https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&rlz=1C1JZAP_enGB738GB738&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=sxx+stock+check&*

I created a new profile, disabled all extensions and the issue went away. The issue was no longer happening after I deleted the new profile and re-enabled all extensions too.

So I don't know if the new profile or disabling and re-enabling the extensions made any difference or if there was a Javascript fix on the google search results page in the mean time, which I suspect is the case.

I only disabled all extensions and the issue is no longer reproduced. With all the extensions enabled again, the issue is no longer reproduced.
