When mouse click is used on a radio button, NVDA reads "not checked" even though its checked

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. go to the following link : https://www.webcomponents.org/element/PolymerElements/paper-radio-group/demo/demo/index.html 2. Mouse click on the "allosaurus" choice It will read "allosaurus radio button not checked 1 of 3" Expected behavior is "allosaurus radio button checked 1 of 3" What is the expected behavior? Expected behavior is "allosaurus radio button checked 1 of 3" What went wrong? It will read "allosaurus radio button not checked 1 of 3" after clicking on "allosaurus" choice Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 57.0.2987.110 Channel: stable OS Version: win 7 Flash Version: Note: getting this issue is not consistent all the time (i would say it happens 3 out of 5) , one thing that help getting the issue to reproduce is being on browse mode and clicking on not checked radio buttons. I have tried this on NVDA 2017.1 Win 7 Chrome 57.0.2987.110

Thanks For filing the issue. Tested in chrome # 57.0.2987.110 stable #57.02987.133 and Canary #59.0.3063.0 on win 7 and not able to reproduce the issue.Please find the screen cast for your reference. Steps Followed: 1.Install chromevox from chrome webstore and tested as per comment #1. @Reporter: Could you please let me know if i have missed anything and if possible,Please create new profile without extensions and apps.Re-check once and let us know the observations of the issue which would help us to triage the issue further. This was clearly marked as an issue with NVDA, why are you using chromevox to reproduce?

As there is no action on this issue for long time closing this issue. Request you to update your Chrome to latest #66.0.3359.181 and verify. Feel free to file a new issue if the issue is still reproduced at your end. Thanks! |
