Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Run Chrome on Ubuntu 17.04 (with Unity desktop) with an extension installed that runs in the background. What is the expected behavior? If there is an extension or app that runs in the background chrome displays it's own icon and possibly a few other icons in the tray area. What went wrong? The issue is caused by the change of the value of the environment variable XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP. It is set to "Unity:Unity7" now. Changing it back to the "Unity" seems to fix the issue for Chrome and other apps too. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 57.0.2987.110 Channel: stable OS Version: Ubuntu 17.04, Unity Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0
