Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/56.0.2924.76 Chrome/56.0.2924.76 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Right click on an anchor element 2. You will see an option to "Copy link address" What is the expected behavior? There should be another option like "Copy link text". Or maybe you can cascade the menu? Set it as "Copy link... > Address | Text" What went wrong? The feature doesn't exist. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 56.0.2924.76 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0 Sorry if I'm writing this in the wrong place, but I wasn't sure how to submit a suggestion. Can you please tell me how to suggest something? I'm sure my suggestion will be a good addition to Chrome.

Thanks for the detailed reply! Sad to hear that the feature was removed. To me it sounds like something essential. Anyway, I do not wish to install an extension to tackle the problem though. I think I'll stick to drag select text and then copy it manually.

Sorry we decided to remove this, but I don't think we're likely to add it back. I would have liked this feature myself! |
