Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Consider the element <div>Foo</div> 2. Style it with text-decoration:underline 3. Style it with display:contents What is the expected behavior? The decoration should not be propagated to the text. (See https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/1136) What went wrong? The text is underlined. Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 59.0.3055.0 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0 The text is not underlined on Firefox.

Propagating down the box-tree instead of using inheritance should fix this along with other bugs. I don't think it makes sense to fix this specifically for display:contents.

Right, makes sense. Thanks for pointing to issue 553174 rune, didn't know about it (I had not started to investigate this one actually).
