Complete browser hang when returning from hibernate |
||
Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: I hibernated Windows 7 for a few days. I turned the computer on, it resumed Windows. The rest of the applications worked fine, but my two instances of Chrome were completely hung. Not only that, but terminating all of the processes using Process Explorer did not work. The browser processes (one for each of the instances) did not terminate. I had to go over its handles and close them one by one until the browser exited. I believe I used WebRTC during the session before I hibernated using one of the instances. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? No hang. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 57.0.2987.110 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: I captured mini dumps using Process Explorer, but since they contain personally/corporate identifying information, they are shared privately using Google Drive. Just ask for access permission.
