Issue descriptionTHIS TEMPLATE IS FOR FILING BUGS ON THE ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW. GENERAL WEB BUGS SHOULD BE FILED USING A DIFFERENT TEMPLATE! Device name: Google Pixel XL Android version:7.0.q WebView version (from system settings -> Apps -> Android System WebView):0.0.0.1 Application: Application version:0.0.0.2 URLs (if applicable): Steps to reproduce: (1) tried to manually enable (2) Tried Google Play (3) And again tried to manually enable Expected result: Turn on Actual result: Bupkis

This is intended behavior. This is because the default webview provider is Chrome. If you were directed here because you were asked to update WebView, you can instead update Chrome for the same effect. |
