PRIVACY ISSUE
Mouse button sensitivity increases gradually over time, so pastes can often happen as a user is trying to scroll, without the user being aware (because by the time they notice, they have already scrolled past). There is currently no way to easily disable middle-click-to-paste feature (https://groups.google.com/a/google.com/forum/#!msg/goobuntu-discuss/aKAI24OKF7U/5xab7ktCDQAJ), and it makes it very easy for sensitive data on the clipboard to be inserted into things that are not private to a user (e.g. shared docs).
This had been happening to me for a few weeks (snippets from other tabs would mysteriously show up in my CLs I'd made in Cider, or shared docs) before I realized what was going on and replaced my 7-year-old mouse.
VERSION:
Chrome Version: beta
Operating System: Goobuntu
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Obtain a mouse with a sensitive middle button. Copy some text to the clipboard, open a Google doc with some text in it, and be slightly more enthusiastic than usual when scrolling down using the middle button.
