Only password field is autofilled and username field is blank for fb.com on saving password

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 57.0.2987.123 (Official Build)e16aab9e7d1dc274c5b31cff424b13cecb7ab1d3-refs/branch-heads/2987@{#867}-32/64 bit OS: Windows(7,8,8.1,10) Steps: 1. Launch Chrome, navigate to chrome://settings and uncheck 'Offer to save your web passwords' 2. Login to 'fb.com' with valid credential, Log out and then go to chrome://settings, check 'Offer to save your web passwords' 3. Now again login to 'fb.com' with same valid credential, Log out and observe Actual: Only password field is autofilled and username field is blank after step 3 Expected: Email id and password field should be autofilled after step 3 This is regression issue broken in 'M 57' and will soon update the bisect info: Good Build: 57.0.2950.0 Bad Build: 57.0.2951.0 Note: This is Windows OS specific issue, not seen on Mac and Linux OS

Correction: In step 3: Login with same valid credential by clicking on photo option to log in to facebook. This is a non-regression issue seen from 40.0.2211.0 Note: This issue is reproducible due to photo option to log in feature of facebook.

Since saving was enabled, the user typed only password. Therefore, only password was saved. There was no username field. It would be pretty hard to guess username. Mark as WontFix. Free to reopen if I misunderstand something. |
