Chrome Version: 59.0.3048.0 (canary)
OS: Windows 10.1
Some settings controlled by an extension show a Disable button which disables the extension. Normally, tapping that updates Settings immediately. With 2 extensions, however, when one is disabled, some Settings sections do not update at all.
The sections that seem to repro this are Search; and Passwords and Forms, each row.
1. Have two extensions controlling a setting such as the default search engine. For example, download each attached extension, unzip them, and load each as an unpacked extension in chrome://extensions.
2. chrome://md-settings
3. Tap "Disable" in the Search Engine or Passwords and Forms section, next to a controlled setting.
Expected: The extension name is replaced by the second extension name.
Actual: Nothing happens. The same extension name is still shown as controlling the extension, even though the extension is disabled.
Disable can be pressed infinity times without these sections updating. This does not disable the 2nd extension. If the 2nd extension is disabled from a working section or another tab, Settings updates immediately (hiding the controlled indicator UI).
I want to point out that while not many users will have two extensions controlling the same setting, it's a *really* bad experience for Settings to:
* act like disabling an extension doesn't work (without a refresh)
* not allow disabling the 2nd extension (without a refresh)
