yeah, https://codereview.chromium.org/2771703002/ just landed
and it might address this issue since it basically initializes
otherwise un-initialized fields.  Will check tomorrow

The CL mentioned in #4 (https://crrev.com/2771703002/,
against https://crrev.com/665488) made the MSAN build
green after landing in :

So I'm going to preventively mark this Issue as Fixed.
