For me, it looks to be a busy-hang rather than a crash. I see the same problem on 1000-sans.badssl.com. It may be the size of the certificate rather than the SAN count?

It'd be interesting if this was a regression after 10.9 or existed then as well.

On https://1000-sans.badssl.com, after ~10 minutes of pegging a CPU on a 2015 MacBook (2.2ghz i7), the native certificate panel appears, but it seems to hang for multiple seconds as you interact with it.

Given that this also crashes in Safari, this sounds like a bug in the native cert viewer.
