Steps to reproduce the problem:
;1. Activate ChromeVox
2. Open gmail
3. Reply to an email message
4. as text is entered, notice that ChromeVox speaks most of the characters as they are entered but often fails to speak the first letter of the word being entered.

What is the expected behavior?
All characters of a word should be spoken by ChromeVox as they are entered, character by character.

What went wrong?
Not all characters of a word are spoken by ChromeVox as they are entered when making a reply to an email message using gmail.
