usb ethernet with connection sharing wanted |
||||
Issue descriptionWhen I connect a device (lego mindstorms ev3) via USB to a chromebook, some parts of ChromeOS seem to recognize the usb ethernet, but the UI won't give my many options to create a profile. What I am looking for is http://www.ev3dev.org/docs/tutorials/connecting-to-the-internet-via-usb/ I'd like the chromebook to: * answer the dhcp request and hand out an IP (since it is USB and there is only one peer, this can be quite simple). * setup port forwarding to share the chrombooks internet connection See also https://groups.google.com/a/google.com/d/topic/chromeos-discuss/CSDLy9Uikuw/discussion According to the reply we already have e.g. dnsmasq as part of chromeos. Hence this could be classified as a UI feature request.
