We have a KI where deleted components still show up in the results. I've got a TODO to write up a module that looks for these, and deletes them on a somewhat regular basis; once it's implemented I'll update this bug and this should be fixed. Thanks for the report!

Current state here: - Deprecated components are no longer updated; however, they are not deleted, and they are still shown - Deleted components persist indefinitely Proposed implementation: - Add deprecated field to component model - Show a UI indicator (perhaps italics, or a lead [DEPRECATED] in front of name) that component is deprecated - Delete components that no longer exist at all. This will help motivate teams to actually delete deprecated components and update labels accordingly.

Deleted components no longer appear on the staging instance; when we migrate the app to the new infrastructure, you'll no longer see them listed. Renaming this and moving to a polish issue to track handling deprecated components.
