When in full screen mode chrome now does not allow url selection with COMMAND + L anymore

Reported by smuts.st...@gmail.com, Mar 20 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.110 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Enable full screen mode without toolbar
2. Press COMMAND L
3. See the URL bar pop up for a spit second and then vanish

What is the expected behavior?
The URL bar should be highlighted so that I can enter a URL

What went wrong?
It only appears for a spit second and then vanishes. It used to always work in the past and I suspect an update caused a glitch

Did this work before? Yes Not sure - probably the previous version

Chrome version: 57.0.2987.110 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.11.4
Flash Version:

Please consider fixing this - it makes it impossible to browse quickly in full screen mode without the toolbar.

Thanks!
