Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open a PDF locally or from a website 2. Work with Chrome for a while (maybe a day) 3. Try to open a PDF Maybe try a script that opens and closes PDFs and leave it running. This seems to be a usage related issue. Maybe a leak in the PDF viewer plugin? What is the expected behavior? The PDF should display just as it does after restarting Chrome. What went wrong? PDFs stops displaying and instead show an empty box. No errors in Windows Event Log. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? Yes Chrome PDF Viewer Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0 Note: This is hard to reproduce because it is a usage issue. It happens to me about once every two days. I have to restart Chrome to bring back the PDF functionality. I have not modified Chrome at all. No other plugins. Note: I am trying turning off hardware acceleration to see if that helps, but this is not a good solution.

Pls try to update to M57 to see whether your problem is solved. I think your issue is same as @npm reported in 697574, pls let me know if it isn't so I can un-merge. |
