Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: It is often useful to view the page source on mobile. It doesn't seem a feature hard to implement, is there any reason why it isn't available? If you don't want to add another menu item which is useless to most of the users, you could add some settings to enable the dev features. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? Feature not available Did this work before? No Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

Looks to be a feature request for Mobile Chrome. Correct me, if I am wrong. Adjusting the components and labels accordingly.

If you type view-source:www.example.com you can view the source for a website on mobile. Does that work for your purposes?

I didn't know that view-source in the address bar worked (I had to try it, sorry). Yes that's a solution, thank you

Yes since we already have a way to accomplish this and the number of users that would want this feature would only be developers and only a very small fraction of developers, it's not worth the complexity and support needed to maintain it. Because of this I am going to mark this as WontFix. Thank you for the suggestion though! |
