Issue descriptionChrome OS 57.0.2987.112/9202.53.0 kevin (add the label below). Steps To Reproduce: (1) Unlug USB when resume (2) (3) Expected Result: USB drive is removed Actual Result:USB stays How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to reproduce?) What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is it? Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or log if possible. For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu page at the end of this report.

Did not reproduced on HP Chromebook 11. (57.0.2987.119) Therefore I think it's likely related to specific hardware. To rookrishna: 1. How frequently does this happen? (e.g. "20%; repro once out of 5 tries") 2. Will you give me more detailed repro condition, by describing what "when resume" means? for example, "unplug while the lid is closed" or "unplug right after opening the lid again, but before the desktop appears"? Please assign back to me on your reply.

This was consistently reproduced on kevin on 57.0.2987.112/9202.53.0 when the usb stick is plugged out on suspend by closing the lid and on resume the usb drive stayed on the left panel . Tried on few other devices and also on kevin with 9202.54.0 but failed to reproduce it again
