Issue descriptionThe md-settings/changePicture (People -> User card) subpage has some a11y / keyboard focus issues: General focus issues: 1. We do not clearly show focus within the picture selection UI. We highlight the selected picture, but do not indicate whether the UI actually has focus (e.g. clicking or tabbing away from the UI changes focus with no visual change). 2. Tab can be used to change focus to the camera UI but focus indication is subtle (slightly dimmed controls). 3. Using the keyboard to flip the photo *also* takes the photo and changes focus to the taken photo which is quite confusing. 4. Selecting the file picker and using ESC to close the window does not always restore focus to the picture select (which is super confusing because of #1). ChromeVox specific: 1. Initial focus shows the entire UI and announces all of the options. 2. Using the arrow keys to change the selected picture does not announce anything.

I reproduced some of these issues in the page: General focus issues: 1. reproduced 2. Couldn't tab to camera icon 3. Reproduced 4. Reproduced Chromevox issues: 1. Reproduced 2. Although focus changed, Chromevox does say "Penguin, Radio Button, Selected" if I pick the penguin image, for example. So I think that part is OK. |
