touchscreen stops working on dell 3120

Issue description

Chrome Version       : 56.0.2924.110 (Officiƫle build) (64-bits)
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested: NO
  Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari:
    Firefox:
         IE:

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What happens instead?


Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

After a random period.. the touchscreen functionality stops. After powerdown powerup it works again (for a limited time)

we have around 1000 dell 11 3120 chromebooks in the organization.. and at least 10 report thius problem. Other reports since the update to 56.X include random crashes (survivable, but verrry annoying in kiosk mode, all work gone)

I added a logfile (created thru chrome://net-internals ... it starts with a clean install (usb) and somewhere the touch stopped working, in less then an hour)

@reporter: Could you please confirm if the issue still persists on the latest stable(58.0.3029.96) as well and if this is related to Chrome OS?
