It won't enable keeps disabling it's self I've done everything including clearing data and cache can't uninstall because it doesn't stay on screen long enough to. I've been at this for a week and haven't gotten answer that's worth anything to make it work. . I can't check things on the web I need to check because it doesn't work right

Issue description

THIS TEMPLATE IS FOR FILING BUGS ON THE ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW. GENERAL WEB
BUGS SHOULD BE FILED USING A DIFFERENT TEMPLATE!

Not working won't stay enabled jumps back to disabled I've cleared cache and data now. Can't delete it because delete doesn't stay on screen long enough. I've also force closed it because I've been at it for a week . can't check things I need to if it doesn't work .  called support got no where called technical support got nowhere. Guess I'll get nowhere here to

Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
On Android 7.0 and up, the WebView implementation is provided by Chrome instead, to save you bandwidth and disk space. Updating Chrome will give you the latest WebView; there's no need to enable or update the regular webview app.
