Open windows/new tabs go black/blank and cannot be reloaded

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open chrome
2. Search for page or enter web address in address bar
3. Eventually the page goes blank/black and cannot be reloaded

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
I am not sure, that is why I am posting the problem here.

Did this work before? Yes Whatever the previous version was.

Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87  Channel: n/a
OS Version: OS X 10.10.5

Unable to reproduce the issue in MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), 10.12.3 using chrome reported version #56.0.2924.87 and latest canary #59.0.3043.0.

Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue.
------------
1. Opened chrome browser.
2. Searched wikipedia.com and youtube.com
3. The page loaded without any issues.

Attaching screen cast for reference.

Reporter@ - Could you please check this issue on latest chrome stable #57.0.2987.98 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not.
