Exactly the same problem back in version 57.0.2987.98.

Odd. Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64. Google Chrome setup 54.0.2840.71 & .87. On some devices (not on all!) msi-setup get stuck at same position (when to check log) ...

It does install new version (I logged in and Chrome seems to work ok), but also lefts behind setup TMP-dir in Program Files (x86). This started with latest .71 msi and seems to same is with .87. I checked back logs ... till Chrome setup 46.0.2490.71 (22.10.2015) and never seen this kind of setup stuck. And so far I was very confident with Chrome setup do accomplish wo any problems. So far!
Setup is done unattended using Windows system account.
Any ideas?
