Hi. It sounds like the updater is having trouble getting the download due to network issues. Could you look for C:\Windows\Temp\chrome_installer.log and %TEMP%\chrome_installer.log and attach either/both for analysis?

Please try the standalone installer and report back to let us know whether or not it worked:

Couldn’t find the LOGS but this time able to install using standalone 64Bit download.

Glad to hear it. What do you see if you visit chrome://help now? I'm curious to know if it reports that Chrome is up to date (indicating that it was able to talk to the update server) or if it reports an error. Thanks.
