Nyan-Big/Blaze : Extended Mode - Reboot and crash(es) observed while switching between monitors in docked mode

Issue description

Chrome Version: 58.3029.18 dev
Platform: 9334.9.0 (Official Build) dev-channel byan-blaze
Firmware Google_Nyan_Blaze.5771.63.0

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Sign in to the device with external monitor connected in extended mode.
2. Close the lid to enter Docked mode
3. Unplug the cable.
4. Plug any other monitor (4K monitor, HP Z 32x - HSTND-9081-A)  which supports different resolution
5. Resume the device by opening the lid. 

What is the expected result?
No Crash should be seen

What happens instead?
Crash observed 3/3 times

@8: interesting, so this would be a recent regression? The tegra drivers haven't changed in a while, so I would say something on the chrome side? If there's a chrome diff for that range, we might be able to find it.
Re:10 -- As Kalin pointed out, I think this was a chameleon failure rather than a regression. We've recabled/reset the device and are reverifying.

Looking at the issue and the user base my take is we put this in second stable if we want to fix this for M57. The first stable rc will kick off in a bit. PLease check in fix into ToT before the merge to M57.

This is not a regression. Same issue is present in M56. Removing RBS label.

Still it is not uncommon for docked board to be unplugged and plugged back to monitor with diff resolution - imagine having diff set monitors at home and at work.
