Missing Browse Feature of Team Drives in Chrome OS Files App

Reported by jonathan...@newspring.cc, Mar 15 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 9000.91.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.110 Safari/537.36
Platform: 9000.91.0 (Official Build) stable-channel lulu

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Initialize Team Drive for the associated google account.
Open the Files app and it does not show up

What is the expected behavior?
Team Drive shows in list of available files in the files app

What went wrong?
Team drive is not displayed in the UI at all

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 56.0.2924.110 Channel: stable
OS Version: 9000.91.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

With the rollout of team drives this functionality is critical for chromebooks. Things like attaching a file to an email or uploading a file on web form could require going to the google drive site and downloading the file first.

Forgot to mention, I checked on Chrome 58 Developer and it was not supported in that version either.

A really frustrating situation for our Chrome OS users. Team Drives are still not available within the Files App in Version 60.0.3112.50 (Official Build) beta (64-bit).

With it coming up on 5 months since this issue was initially reported, has there been any progress? I'm currently on the Stable Channel v61.0.3163.79
Hi all - Thanks for the interest Team Drives support in Files app. Due to other initiatives which came up in the last few months, we were unable to fully implement this feature for M61, but it is definitely still on our roadmap. We are working on prioritizing this in the upcoming months.
Any update in on this? I am a team that is already invested in using Team drives and looking to migrate them to Chrome Devices. This feature is critical for that move.
@jonathan, without fanfare they fixed it.

I noticed an update from last weekend that now brings Team Drive to the file manager in ChromeOS.

I don't know the exact update that pushed this, but I'm on the beta channel (org enforced) version 62.0.3202.74

Only problem that I noticed is that the "date modified column shows all Team Drive folders at Dec 31st, 1969, 7:00PM - however, sorting desc/asc does show correctly, just the time is hard fixed as stated above.
Justed moved to beta channel on a Dell Chromebook 13 7310. v63.0.3239.26

In Chrome://flags I noticed a "Enable Team Drives Integration" setting that states it toggles integration in the files app. I enabled it and it did nothing.

Also checked Chrome 62 Stable on the new Pixelbook, that same Chrome://flags option was there but it also did nothing.

Looks like I don't have the ability to view the new issue. I just tried on Chrome 65 even with the above Team drives flag being enabled and it still doesn't work.

Can I get access to the linked issue to view the status.
