Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/46.0.2490.86 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Access any mobileviewport page( eg. http://output.jsbin.com/ixibol/6) 2. From Menu enable ForceEnabledZoom 3. Double tap on the page. What is the expected behavior? force zoom should happen What went wrong? Force zoom is not happening. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 46.0.2490.86 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

Thanks for the fix. sujiths.s@ is this fix applicable for desktops and mobile? Tagging as RB to the fix merged once its verified.

I don't think we should change this. More detailed arguments are in the code review in #1 but in summary: -This would reinstate the 300ms click delay which I think is a worse user experience than being unable to double-tap zoom on mobile pages (pinch-zoom is still available) -Force zoom is meant for accessibility - johnme@ points out that there are much better OS-level solutions for this now than in the past. -Pages with a mobile viewport likely wont have good targets for double-tap to zoom anyway so the feature wont work well Given that, I'm going to close this as WontFix. Re #2: This would apply to mobile only in any case. |
