Multiple chorme books across organisation (different sites) all report multiple crashing (up to 15 times a day)

Issue description

have tested this issue:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Working on the chrome books causes problem they just crash
(2) Happening with multiple chrome books at the org this week, different sites
(3) Suspect that there is a software update that has a bug in it?
What is the expected result?
That the chromebooks work and don't repeatedly crash
What happens instead?
They are crashing repeatedly with out any warning. Is happening to different models, all HP
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

We have not had do not have crash ID as we have not had it turned on. We are in process of turning on now so should have crash reports ID's next week.
