Go to youtube.com in Google Chrome and Chromium. 2. Play some video, listen to the volume level. 3. Notice that Chromium is much quieter. What is the expected behavior? The audio in Chromium should be as loud as Google Chrome. What went wrong? The audio is too quiet. Did this work before? N/A Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? I have adjusted the volume in the YouTube video viewer. I have also adjusted it via alsa-mixer, and pavucontrol. I have it pegged at 100%, but it is too quiet. I maximize the audio level with the volume knob on my speakers and it can still be too quiet. But, Google Chrome, and any games are much louder and I must turn down the volume a lot to compensate. So, this is why I think it is a problem with Chromium specifically.
