en_NZ not applied as locale through GPO |
|||||
Issue descriptionI have just installed Google Chrome ver. 56 and through GPO i've set the Application Locale to en-NZ but seems from the language list it's not listing English (New Zealand) although the policy is applied. Does anyone know or encounter the same issue and how to resolve it? I want specifically en-NZ due to the date format for our SAP application which is having issue when using the en-US date format. see https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome-admins/dpuIN2UtN9c;context-place=forum/chrome-admins for screenshots.

Assigning to Matt for triage.

So it seems like we are incorrectly wiping the original values when they don't match a Chrome internal locale but instead we should keep them for sending up with request headers while using the best match for the app-specific locale.
