Will not enable

Reported by brigitte...@gmail.com, Mar 12 2017

Issue description

My new LG G5 phone shows this app as disabled. I can see the blue enable button but when I try to click on it nothing happens. Amazon customer service advised me to enable this app in an attempt to fix problems I am having with their apps not working/installing (specifically the amazon video app).

Assuming you are on Android 7.0 (nougat) then you need to update Chrome, not WebView. Updating Chrome automatically updates WebView, and the WebView package on the Play Store (and in the system apps list) is only there for older OS versions and people who disable Chrome.
