Are you the site owner of http://learnislam.org.uk ?

The humberger menu of the site:
* Does not work in Chrome nor in Firefox
* Shows up in by a click and then disappears immediately on Edge. Next click is ignored.
* Shows up on second click and then disappears immediately on Safari.

So I can't determine what are the expected behavior.

If you're not the site owner, do you have other examples?

Thank you for the reply. Would it be possible for you to produce a smaller test case that demonstrates how your code is failing to run on Chrome and Firefox?

Hello,

Thank you for the responces, please note we are mainly WordPress site
developers and have limited experience with the backend technology used by
WordPress and it's associated themes inorder to make the required functions
work.

We have determined the issues have become prevelant from Chrome version 57
as we had a member who was on version 56 and did not have any issues, as
soon as they went to check the Chrome version and it self updated the
issues stared for them too.

We know these issues (iFrames not loading) are not currently shown in
Microsoft Edge on the desktop.

In regards to the Mobile Hamburger not functioning at all in Chrome also
seems to be with the latest version of Chrome only as the previous versions
are working fine and the menu is opening as expected.

We have also been made aware some versions of Safari are experiencing the
same problemishes which might indicate and issue with Apple Web kit.
However this is only an assumption.

Please do let us know if we can help further to resolve the issue.

Sorry for a lot of questions, but could you clarify what the problem is?

When you said "in mobile view try to select menu", I thought it's the Hamburger menu, but your comment indicates it's not.

What do you mean by "select menu"? Could you please be a little more specific where on the screen to click?

Comment 9 by t.ap...@gmail.com, Mar 14 2017

There are several issues across multiple sites on the domain, the main
issue in mobile view is the hamburger menu (mobile view menu) near the top
right under the header is totally unresponsive to touches on all pages.

Further issues include iFrames not opening and instead reverting to show
the page as a whole instead of in a frame. This can be seen on
dua.learnislam.org. UK and by selecting the orange star (Kalimah) which
should and use to open an iFrame to display the page, however this no
longer happens and the page is loaded without any frame.

Furthermore there are also many other quirks across all sites I.e tabs and
accordions not displaying expected behaviour.

Regards.

I'm terribly sorry but I'm unable to understand what you're talking about. Asked a few people around to see what I'm missing but it didn't help. Maybe I'm missing something, or my English isn't great, but I don't know how to proceed.

Where is the menu you're talking about, and where'e the IFRAME? Could you take a screenshot, mark where you click and show how it's not working?

One more thing, when you say this issue happens on multiple sites that use WordPress template, is there any other sites, hopefully a simpler site, to understand the problem better?

Comment 14 by t.ap...@gmail.com, Mar 16 2017

Hello,

There is a menu button (hamburger menu) on the top right hand side. It has
3 horizontal lines and once it is touched should open the main navigation
menu on a mobile browser. Please can you confirm if you can see this menu
button on your mobile and if it works for you.

The same menu button is used across our other sites which are on the same
domain. The addresses are provided below:

video.learnislam.org.uk
library.learnislam.org.uk
salaah.learnislam.org.uk

Our site is responsive and therefore the mobile menu only displays on
mobile devices and not on desktops, on the desktop you will see the normal
drop down menu which is working ok.

The hamburger menu appears to be working on all of those 4 websites you listed on a Nexus5X.

Can you tell us what hardware you are experiencing this on? Possibly a recorded video of this from another device might help us understand it better. I've examined the site and I don't see anything that would cause such an issue. If you are experiencing this just on one device could it be that it has some specific flags set? (try chrome://flags - Reset all to Default)
