Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/57.0.2987.88 Chrome/57.0.2987.88 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open Chromium 2. Click on the user icon in the top-right corner 3. Click on "Sign in to chromium" 4. When I put the correct username and password nothing happens (in the case of the wrong password it notifies me that the password is wrong) 5. After good log in nothing happens (I can still click on the same icon with Sign in to chromium) What is the expected behavior? It should instead log me in normally and sync data What went wrong? When I put the correct username and password nothing happens (in the case of the wrong password it notifies me that the password is wrong) After good log in nothing happens (I can still click on the same icon with Sign in to chromium) I tried to log in from settings but the same thing happens. Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 57.0.2987.88 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version:

I'm sorry OP, this sounds like intended behavior. We've disabled the ability for Chromium builds to sync. This was a casualty of fixing a security vulnerability, see https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=677887#c22 for more details. Unfortunately, closing this bug, as this is working as intended.

The work around being to use Chrome instead of Chromium if you want to sync. |
