Flexbox with table child breakage

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to https://jsfiddle.net/czwrokdx/1/
2.

What is the expected behavior?
Button should take the whole remaining space, and the input be limited to its set width.

What went wrong?
The table element expands accross the whole width.

Did this work before? N/A 

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 59.0.3035.0  Channel: canary
OS Version: OS X 10.12.3
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0

Able to reproduce this issue on windows 7, Mac 10.12.3,Linux Ubuntu 14.04 with Chrome Canary-59.0.3034.0 & reported version-59.0.3032.0.

The patch for https:///crrev/2528253003 has caused many regressions, so I'm reverting it. 

I hope this and all the related regressions will gone as soon as https:///crrev/2740063003 lands.
