What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) open the following URL:
  data:text/html,<input type=date>
(2) Hover on the field, and click on ▼

What is the expected result?
A calendar picker is shown.

What happens instead?
A calendar picker isn't shown, but it appears if we move the mouse pointer below the field.
