Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open test case https://jsfiddle.net/gibbok/smu0c60h/ with Google Chrome Browser version 56 or 59 2. Click button "Click me to rotate" 12 times so the video will be rotated. What is the expected behavior? - The video controls should be hidden as the video itself as specified from inline CSS backface-visibility:hidden What went wrong? - The video controls are NOT hidden as the video itself as specified from inline CSS backface-visibility:hidden Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Issue visible on: Google Chrome Version 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit) Google Chrome Version 59.0.3033.0 canary (64-bit) (CANARY) Test case works fine on: Firefox 52.0 (64-bit) Firefox 53.0a2 (2017-03-06) (64-bit)

Able to reproduce the issue on Windows-7,Windows-10, Mac-10.12.3 and Linux Ubuntu-14.04 using chrome stable version 56.0.2924.87 and canary 59.0.3035.0 with the steps mentioned in comment#0. This is non-regression issue,observed from M50 #50.0.2661.0 . From M30 to M49 the video was not rotated.Marking this as Untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Please find the attached screen cast for reference. Issue not observed in other browser(Firefox). Thanks..

With respect to the label added: Needs-triage-Mobile, triaged the issue and below are the observations. Able to reproduce the issue on Mobile device (Tablet and handset) as per steps provided Observed video controls button are visible after clicking 12 times on "click me to rotate" Devices Used: ============= Device Name : Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Chrome Version: 56.0.2924.87 Android version: 6.0.1/MMB29K Device Name : MotoG 2nd Generation Chrome Version: 58.0.3029.23 Android version: 6.0.0/MPB24.65-34-3 Attaching a screenshot for reference.
