Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open MS-IME Japanese. 2. Type and submit a 4-byte unicode character in text field. 3. Type "seizoubumonn" → "せいぞうぶもん" What is the expected behavior? Chrome will display "せいぞうぶもん" (See good-at-firefox51.gif) What went wrong? Chrome displays only first "s" (See wrong-at-chrome56.gif) Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes Perhaps 55 and below Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.3 Flash Version: - It is important to start typing a non-vowel alphabet character like "s".

I can confirm this in stable 56.0.2924.87, but Canary 59.0.3036.0 works good, so I suppose this was fixed and the fix will be rolled out in 57 or 58. Thank you for the report and bringing this into our attention. Please feel free to leave comments or reopen if any. |
