Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the attached test case. 2. Observe that space is not preserved between the words, only one space is shown. What is the expected behavior? There should be a long gap between the words. Firefox displays the test case correctly. What went wrong? White space is not preserved between words. Did this work before? No Does this work in other browsers? No Webkit has the same bug: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112032 Firefox doesn't have this bug. Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.3 Flash Version:

I realized that this bug doesn't need to be fixed, if support for white-space property is added ( https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=366558 ). Maybe it's better to implement the white-space property than to waste time fixing this bug, unless there is a trivial fix for this bug.
