Issue descriptionMode: force_next Version: 58.0.3027.0 Reproduction Steps: 1. Open a conversation in Gmail and use n and p to move through the messages. 2. Randomly the TTS goes away but the ChromeVox earcons still work. 3. Restarting the Chromebook seems to be the only way to restore the TTS. Restarting ChromeVox does not bring back the speech.

Thanks David, I'll try to watch for that. I had to revert from dev to beta since constantly loosing speech and needing to reboot was impacting my productivity significantly. Unfortunately after receiving a beta update earlier today the issue now appears to be happening there as well.
