pressing enter key in address bar does not trigger page opening

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. put smth into address bar (type address, type keyword, type and pick up from autocomplete) 2. press enter/return key 3. What is the expected behavior? page wit target address or google's search page should open What went wrong? tab content remains white, while tab header gets google favicon (multicolor G letter) Did this work before? Yes not sure for exact version. something like 1month ago all was OK Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.3 Flash Version: I tried disable all extensions and issue still remains. I do not have a screenshot for now. Tested on Mac os 10.12.2 using chrome M56 #56.0.2924.87 and issue is not observed with the below steps : 1. Launched chrome and navigated to new tab page . 2. typed smth in address bar and clicked enter , observed that google search results for smth appeared. Attached screencast for reference. @zvasylvv-- Could you please try a system restart and chrome re-install and write us with your observations. Thanks!
