Attempting to select text with #enable-chrome-home flag enabled causes crash

Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Enable chrome home flag
2. Attempt to select text from omnibox
3. Crash

What is the expected behavior?
The text selection options should appear.

What went wrong?
The browser crashes with "Unfortunately Chrome has stopped"

Chrome version: 56.0.2924.87  Channel: stable
OS Version: 5.1.1
Flash Version: 

This issue appears to be specific to my phone's version of the LG UX and it's method of text selection. Log taken with ADB while reproducing the crash is attached.

We are able to repro this issue on Chrome Stable:56.0.2924.87 Devices:LG G2(VS980)/LRX22G/5.0.2 and LG G3(D855)/LRX21R/5.0.0

Status: WontFix (was: Available)
The feature is still very experimental. It starts getting usable only now. If you want to try Chrome Home, please do so in Chrome Dev or Canary (version 58)

And yes, it was completely broken in version 56, but we can't do much about that now. Closing this issue.
