Issue descriptionChrome Version : 56.0.2924.87 (Official Build) (32-bit URLs (if applicable) : Facebook.com What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Open Facebook on Android (2) Select messages (3) Become annoyed What is the expected result? See Facebook complain about wanting to take over your phone, know every creepy thing about you, but feel satisfied it can't automatically open Play Store (because who wants an invasive piece of garbage like the Messenger app on their phone?). What happens instead? I am greeted with an install button, inviting certain death to my phone, productivity, and torture by pixelated meme. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. I would take a picture of my phone melting if I could.

We already require user gesture before you can be redirected to the play store. Facebook chose to implement their site in this way. Chrome can't detect that the click wasn't related to something misleading. This would need to be filed against facebook. |
