This looks like a broken build. I am not seeing this on ToT. Are there any errors in the JS console (ctrl-shift-j)?

OK, good to hear, thanks for the update. I just saw it on 58.0.3027.0 and was about to do a bisect, but I don't see it on ToT so it was most likely fixed in the meantime.

fyi: this was the issue dpapad@ and I discovered using the new, faster output format from polymer-css-build --no-inline-includes / the runtime option of preserveStyleIncludes in polymer_config.js we reverted quickly, but there was 1 cut of chrome that had the bug. we fixed the issue and relanded, so this should never come up again (in theory)
